We help business owners grow with confidence by structuring finance that supports stronger operations, expanding fleets, and new growth opportunities.
James founded Machine Finance in 2022 after identifying an opportunity to fill a gap in the market: to properly assist established and growing businesses who need a highly skilled, experienced and dependable finance brokerage that can help them scale – not just “facilitate” their finance.
While most brokers focus on speed, volume and churning through new customers, James takes the opposite approach. He believes that by investing time and effort into supporting his existing clients, he can help them scale their fleets effectively. By doing so, real growth is achieved for both his clients and Machine Finance.
With over a decade of experience in business finance, James began his career writing and submitting complex finance applications. That foundation gave him a competitive understanding of how lenders assess businesses and how to structure deals that get approved efficiently, strategically and at scale. With his strong application-writing background, he is able to clearly explain what lenders are looking for and simplify the process for clients. Today, he draws on that background to support Machine Finance’s clients – from smaller finance applications up to managing debt portfolios for large businesses exceeding $50 million across multiple financiers.
James specialises exclusively in machinery and equipment finance for the earthmoving, mining, transport, construction, agriculture and aviation sectors. He knows the industries, understands the equipment, and recognises the challenges business owners face in each sector. He brings sharp execution, practical solutions and clear guidance to every deal.
Known for his direct, down-to-earth approach, James doesn’t speak in bank jargon – he keeps it real. He’s focused on building long-term partnerships and giving business owners the clarity, transparency and confidence they need to expand their fleet and grow their operations sustainably.
Daniel plays the central role in deal strategy, lender engagement, and credit positioning. He’s the architect behind how applications are structured, negotiated, and placed – ensuring every deal is bank-ready and built to succeed.
With close to a decade at a Big Four bank, Daniel brings an insider’s perspective to every transaction – predicting lender responses, anticipating credit queries or concerns, and proactively shaping applications that can overcome the challenges of internal bank policies.
That insight gives our clients a significant edge: faster outcomes, stronger approvals, and far less wasted time. His technical capability is exceptional, and he moves seamlessly with clarity and confidence. Calm under pressure and clear on the detail, Daniel is a critical part of how Machine Finance consistently delivers outcomes where others may stall.
Daniel is a seasoned finance and banking professional with over 20 years’ experience in Equipment Finance for Heavy Industries. He began his career in finance leasing before moving to the Commonwealth Bank, where he spent a decade in roles spanning Complex Credit, Business Development, and Management. Following this, Daniel led operations and credit for a highly respected Equipment Finance brokerage before joining Machine Finance in 2025.
He holds qualifications in Business, Commercial Lending, and Broking, and brings in-depth knowledge of bank policies, credit processes, and broader financial product structures. With strong relationships across banks and non-bank financiers nationally, Daniel ensures Machine Finance clients are matched efficiently with the most appropriate lending partners.
MFG was built for heavy industry business owners who want more than access to finance. They want clarity, confidence, and the reassurance that their finance is being handled properly by people who understand their business and how it operates.
We specialise exclusively in heavy industry, delivering clear and well structured finance for everything from single asset purchases to long term fleet growth. By staying focused, we remove friction, simplify complex decisions, and ensure finance supports where your business is heading, not just the deal in front of you.
When you partner with us, you gain more than a broker. You gain an experienced finance partner with strong lender relationships and a practical, down to earth approach that helps you move forward with confidence.
Here’s what to expect when working with MFG. Clear advice, efficient execution, and finance structured properly from the outset.
We focus on solving real business problems, not pushing quick solutions. Every structure is built around your needs, with the aim of delivering outcomes that hold up today and into the future.
We review your lender spread, financial position, and approval options. From there, we help shape a finance strategy that supports confident equipment purchases and long term growth.
Unsure whether finance will support a purchase or idea. We provide clear, practical guidance and honest second opinions so you can move forward with confidence.
We manage the entire process on your behalf. From financials and insurance coordination to supplier documentation, we handle the detail so you can stay focused on running your business.
We work closely with trusted accountants, insurers, bankers, valuers, and suppliers. Where gaps exist, we connect you with professionals who meet the same standards we do.
You work directly with experienced decision makers. Our clients value the one to one relationship, high service standards, and confidence that their finance is handled properly from day one.
At MFG, we partner with Australian heavy industry businesses to deliver practical, growth focused finance solutions. We work alongside you as a long term partner, ensuring finance decisions support where your business is heading.
Whether you are expanding your fleet, upgrading equipment, or acquiring a new business, our industry driven approach helps you move forward with confidence and clarity.
